Sparks

Sparks is hosted by Annie at McGuffy's Reader and her words are the best to use to explain:

"I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!"

The aim is to post a positive quote, thought, poem, or verse - I love this quote and really try to live by it.

Visit Annie's blog, McGuffy's Reader to see what Sparks my fellow bloggers have come up with.

  2. Yes. I agree with this message. These are great Sparks. There is much joy in doing something without reward...because that IS the reward. Helping someone just because you can and they need it IS the best love you can give...and receive. Thanks for sharing. Hugs!

  3. Pam,

Having a charitable heart makes the world a better place. I love this time of year because humanity is clearly visible, now to find a way for it to filter throughout the year instead of this isolated occurrence around the holidays. Thanks for the "Sparks"!

    1. I just keep hoping that if we keep this behaviour throughout the year, then slowly it will seep out to everyone around us.

  4. This is a wonderful Sparks. We often neglect those that need us the most. I try not to do that.

    Have a fabulous day. ☺

  7. Oh my goodness, what a heart wrenching photo! It really drives home the need to be merciful to those in desperate need. I love the pairing, but it's a disturbing photo....probably a good combination so it sticks in my mind!
