Sparks of Love

Sparks is hosted by Annie at McGuffy's Reader and her words are the best to use to explain:

"I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!"

The aim is to post a positive quote, thought, poem, or verse - I love this quote as it points to hope of a future where peace and love eradicate war and hatred.

  1. This is spot on. We all should remember this. Our little ones can teach us this if we pay attention.

    Have a fabulous day. ☺

  2. He was right in this statement. We were all born to love. We just need to remember that. Mother Teresa said, “If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other.” Thanks for adding Sparks! Hugs!

  3. We are born with hearts of love that are sometimes taught to push that love away and put hate in its place. We can learn to let love push back the hate and know the wonder of the our true selves.

  4. Pamela,

We are born in a "sin" nature and as we get older the natural tendencies God has placed in each of us sometimes is replaced by evil - hate, jealousy, discontentment, ... We need to guard our heart from the world's influence protecting our happiness and love for others. Excellent "Sparks"! Thank you for visiting and have an excellent week, my friend!

  6. It's always beautiful to watch young children and how they interact with each other without prejudice towards race. It's sad when life begins to skew our perceptions and cause pain towards others. We're all so much more alike than different!
