Sparks

Sparks is hosted by Annie at McGuffy's Reader (visit to see everyone else's sparks) and her words are the best to use to explain:

"I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!"

The aim is to post a positive quote, thought, poem, or verse. I guess my contribution this week is all about recognising that we all have our own beauty and worth.

  1. Oh I love this. We all have our time to shine. Wonderful words of wisdom.

  2. I love this Spark because it is so true! We are each given our own beauty and our own gifts... our own ways to shine. Comparing ourselves to someone else diminishes our gratitude for what we've been given. We need to learn to appreciate the beauty in others, the diversity, and all the wonderful things each person has within them if we take the time to look! We also need to love ourselves enough to understand that we are also beautiful creations with so much to give!

    1. So true Josie, especially about loving ourselves, though sometimes it's easier said than done.
      Thanks for stopping by.

A mistake we all make. We unique and purrrposeful; one not better than the other just different. Thanks for the reminder. Have a sparkletastic week and a fabulous Valentine's Day!!

  7. I find when I start to compare my life with someone else I sometimes am "envious" instead of "grateful" so this is very good advice.
