Before I head into the post, can I ask someone to remind me next year not to book time away in April where there is no wifi - thank you so much to Tamara at Part-time Working Hockey Mom for linking me up for my G post.

Capture that feeling in your mind, the anticipation and the hope for what was to come. It may just have been hope that the person you were going on a date with wouldn't turn out to be a jerk, but hopefully it was hope for a nice date, and then hope for the potential of where this date may lead.
Wouldn't it be good to have that feeling of hope again about a night out together. Maybe you need to find a way to bring that back, ask your love out on a date, something unexpected, and make a fuss of each other. Maybe even go out and come back to pick them up like a real date - it's just a thought.
Do you remember the feeling of hope for the future on your wedding day? I'm sure a part of that hope was for romance to stay alive through your marriage, so make sure you're doing something about that.
Today's quote is by the amazing woman that was Maya Angelou.

Oh we are both on the same page where our marriages are concerned. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteLove the quote and it's ever so true.
Love anything Whitney sang. What a voice she had.
Have a fabulous day, Pamela. ♥
Whitney definitely belongs with your romance series. So many great songs.
ReplyDeleteLove the wifi warning, at least they're honest ;-) Not like in many places in South Africa where they would advertise in BIG letters for their free wifi, only that it was free to download one e-mail, and then you had to use your credit card or go offline.
You're very welcome, btw, I was happy to help you out. H is for with a little HELP from your friends :-)

Excellent post, thank you for sharing your beautiful wedding photo. Great song, I saw Whitney Houston in concert in 1987, long time ago.
ReplyDeleteHi Pam - we all need Hope ... especially in today's age. Love the photos - cheers Hilary
ReplyDeletePamela,
ReplyDeleteHope is a necessary ingredient that keeps a marriage/relationship going. As long as I breath I will hold onto hope for things to come. Every day spent with DH surpasses all my hopes and dreams!
