I've decided that the second half of the alphabet is not my friend - difficult to decide on a topic and I'm not even going to write what Ken suggested for the letter O, as I would have to put that this is an R rated blog.
Today's song, after much searching on google, is from Jake Owen - I Was Made For You.
I decided that I have to have one post in the A to Z where I gush about my beloved who is the one - my one and only love, soulmate, and best friend. He's the one that inspires me to be romantic and to strive to keep romance, fun, and togetherness as the central theme of our relationship.
I never thought I would find my one, having bets with people that I would never get married, but Lady Destiny had other things in store for me and arranged for a boy born on the west coast of Scotland to cross paths with a girl born in Tasmania at the bottom of the world.
There are times when romance is the last thing on our minds as life gets in the way, but that's why it's important to have little things up your sleeve that only take a moment but can mean so much to your special one. A post-it note on the mirror, a favourite chocolate hidden in their pocket, a spontaneous shoulder massage, or a lovely text message in the middle of their day. Just make time.
Today's quote:

Nice quote and song too :)
ReplyDeleteOh yes ... I can believe that ... wonderful to see - cheers Hilary
ReplyDelete"The One" is your title, and you didn't let Elton John sing for you..?
ReplyDeletePamela,
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the quote you used! That's the way I feel about DH and I can tell that's precisely how you guys feel for one another, too.

I've so enjoyed your posts. I could write these. Well sort of. We are so alike. Your hubby is like my hubby and I'm like you. It's been most delightful to feel the very same things you've posted each day.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. ♥
Great quote! Thanks for sharing that.
